The Tribe originally began in 2006 with a group of parents looking to provide extra support to their student athletes. 

As the student athletes grew through their time at Kingston Public Schools, so did The Tribe. 

Many have devoted time and endless efforts to The Tribe over the years and The Tribe would not be what it is today without all of those that have contributed along the way. 

The goal of The Tribe remains the same, to support student athletes in their endeavors during their time at Kingston Public Schools. 

The Tribe operates by selling spirit items and spirit apparel to help fund needs of athletic organizations in the way of snacks, meals and playoff apparel.  In 2024, The Tribe sponsored Senior Impact where student athletes are able to select a teacher that has impacted them during their time at Kingston Public Schools.  The Tribe is also proud to offer scholarship opportunities to student athletes that meet the requirements of a fall and spring sport during all four years of high school and a minimum GPA.  Applications for scholarships open in January of student's senior year and close February 15 of the same year.   In 2024, four scholarships were awarded to student athletes.
